Remove Conditional Resident Status

This application is for persons who obtained Permanent Resident Alien status before the second year of marriage to their U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien spouse. In these cases, the person is initially granted a "Conditional Residence" that expires after a period of two years. A petition for Removal of Conditional Resdience must be filed with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration service during the last 90 days of the 2 year period in order to be granted permission to permanently resided in the United States.
